PLANETS....

INTRO

Would you like to discover interesting facts about planets, that I found out.Well here are some of the facts I have discovered.

EARTH.

Earth is the 3rd closest planet to the sun and was made 4.68 billion years ago and is the only planet
supported with life and oxygen. Earth has different dynamic changes. It is very rich in atmosphere
and is also the 3rd rockiest planet and orbits
the sun. It rotates/travels 108,000 km an hour also its average temperature is 59 degrees. The color of
earth is blueish and greenish.

Jupiter

Jupiter is the 5th nearest to the sun,  It has different
seasons and they are not obvious ones!!
Jupiter is the largest and massive of all it has 2.5 times the mass of all the other planets and about
1,300 earths could fit in Jupiter because of its
large mass. Jupiter is also named after
one of the most important Roman gods
and has the largest sections of moons.

VENUS

Venus is the 2nd closest to the sun and is the same size as earth which also is the closest to earth.
Venus is lifeless and dry, it is gloomy and scorching hot.Venus rotates to other sides but also has very dense clouds. Venus also has 3 layers to it to make up the planet.

SUN

The sun is actually a star not a planet and is the biggest of them all.The sun rotates 34 earth days
and its rotation period is 25 earth days, its average
temperature is 27 million degrees. It is 4.9 billion years old and has exceedingly hot plasma. The color of the sun is orange-y red-ish to yellow.

NEPTUNE

Neptune is the coldest of all planets and is the farthest  away from the sun.  It was discovered
in 1846 by Voyager 2 which has been investigating it. Voyager has named it the windiest planet
of all. Voyager 2 has found that Neptune has a set of rings and has 13 moons.Voyager 2 has gone
6 times to investigate. Neptune was named after
the Roman king of the sea because of its blueish green color.

URANUS
Uranus is the 3rd biggest planet, and it is pale blue and featureless, it has a sparse ring system and has
an extensive family of moons. Uranus is tipped over on its side and was the first to be discovered in a telescope but little was known until Voyager 2 flew past in January 1986 and then started investigating....;)

MERCURY

Mercury is the 2nd smallest and closest to the sun which is very rich in iron. Mercury is dark, dusty, solid in rock.  Its mass is thin and small
and helium flies out of it.Mercury's average temperature in the afternoon is
800 degrees and in night time its usual is 290 degrees.

SATURN

Saturn is the second largest and is the 6th  planet
from the sun It is a distant planet and is normally visible to the naked eye. It has a large family of rings and has a spectacular system.  It is a huge ball of gas and liquid and is the least dense out of all planets.

MARS

Mars is the outermost of all planets and is a red rusty planet. It is named after the Roman god of war and has the highest volcanoes, deep canyons, and is very dry.Mars has a large body of
liquid and also water once flowed across the surface....

CONCLUSION
Even though planets are far away doesn't mean you can't learn about them or write about them so hope you enjoyed your journey through space!
